Wisconsin Dells Youth Basketball Information
WDYB offers a competitive and fun, “Club” basketball experience for girls and boys in grades 3-8. The purpose of WDYB is to provide a positive, quality experience to area youth and promote basic basketball skills development in an enjoyable and instructive setting.
Club season runs from November - February/March.
Most teams practice twice per week.
3rd Grade teams participate in approximately 5 weekend tournaments.
4th-8th Grade teams participate in 8-10 weekend tournaments.
Most tournaments are at JustAgame, but some may include area travel.
All players in 3rd and 7th grade are provided with a basketball as part of the registration fee.
WDYB Club Players receive a 25% discount on all individual camps and clinics at JustAGame Fieldhouse.
Uniforms are a separate cost and purchase but can be reused for multiple years.
Coaches will contact all registered players with their practice times and tournament schedules by early November.
The WDYB Board of Directors does provide financial assistance for those with legitimate needs. There is a spot on the registration form to indicate financial need. If there are specific questions about financial assistance, please call/text Thad Meister (608) 434-0904 or Brian Grove (608) 393-9270.
Free Skill Sessions
WDYB also provides FREE Skill Sessions with Eddie Fernandez, our Club Basketball Skill Coordinator.
All Club players are encouraged to attend these sessions, free of charge, to sharpen their skills.
