Purpose & Goals

Wisconsin Dells Youth Basketball is an independent and self-supported organization whose purpose is to provide a positive quality experience and promote basic basketball skills development in an enjoyable and instructive setting.

The goal of Wisconsin Dells Youth Basketball is to introduce, develop, and continually improve basic skills of the game in an organized, team-based atmosphere. Further, our goal is to instill a positive team philosophy and build good sportsmanship, which will carryover into future school-sponsored athletic programs.

Wisconsin Dells Youth Basketball sponsors both boys and girls teams in grades 3-8. Teams play in a variety of different tournaments each year. The season typically runs from November through March. Teams participate in both the Great Northwest and JustAgame programs. Play in these two programs allow our participants to play other teams with just the right amount of competition, challenges, victories, and defeat.
